Editorial Process
Initial Editorial Screening
All manuscripts submitted to IJIHSR undergo an initial review by the editorial board. During this stage, the scope, originality, scientific quality, and any technical issues are carefully assessed. Manuscripts that pass this screening proceed to detailed peer review.
Author Communication
The corresponding author will be informed throughout the process and may be contacted for clarifications, corrections, or revisions. Only manuscripts that are novel, methodologically sound, and relevant to the journal’s scope will proceed further.
Handling of Editorial Board Submissions
Manuscripts submitted by editorial board members are handled directly by the Editor-in-Chief and sent to independent external reviewers. Editorial board members are excluded from decision-making regarding their own submissions to maintain transparency.
Peer Review
Suitable manuscripts are sent to at least two experts in the relevant field for peer review. Authors may suggest potential reviewers at the time of submission, however the final reviewer selection rests with the editorial office.
Double-Blind Review
The journal follows a double-blind peer review system where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript’s scientific merit, originality, and contribution to the field.
Revision and Final Decision
If revisions are required, authors must submit a revised manuscript with a point-by-point response to reviewer comments. The review process may involve multiple rounds of revision. The final decision on acceptance, revision, or rejection is made by the editorial board based on the reviewers’ feedback and the overall scientific quality of the work.
