Author Responsibilities
Authorship Criteria
Authorship should be based on substantial contributions to the conception, design, data collection, analysis, or interpretation of the work, along with drafting or critically revising the manuscript. All authors must approve the final version before submission and agree to be accountable for the content. Individuals who contributed but do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged separately.
Originality and Duplicate Submission
Authors must ensure that their submission represents original work that has not been published elsewhere or is under consideration by another journal. If parts of the manuscript overlap with previously published or submitted work, this must be clearly disclosed at the time of submission.
Use of Figures, Tables, and Third-Party Material
If figures, tables, or text passages are reproduced from another source, authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions and citing the source appropriately. Submissions found to have copyright violations or improper attribution may be returned or rejected.
Data Accuracy and Availability
Authors should present data accurately and without manipulation. Fabrication, falsification, or selective reporting is considered scientific misconduct. Where applicable, authors may be asked to provide raw data for editorial or peer review purposes.
Acknowledgement of Funding and Support
Any financial or institutional support must be clearly declared in the manuscript. Potential conflicts of interest must also be disclosed.
Reporting Standards
Authors should follow recognised reporting guidelines such as CONSORT for clinical trials, STROBE for observational studies, PRISMA for systematic reviews, and CARE for case reports to ensure clarity and transparency.
Copyright
Authors retain the copyright of their work. Upon acceptance, authors grant the journal the right to publish and distribute the article in all forms. Submitted works may be archived and made publicly accessible through the journal website and indexing platforms.
Licensing
Articles published in IJIHSR are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial (CC BY-NC) license. This allows others to read, download, share, and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes with proper citation.
Author Rights
- Authors may share their published work on personal websites, institutional repositories, or academic networks.
- Authors are encouraged to disseminate their work widely to increase impact and visibility.
